GearClock Desktop

This is a Quartz Composition which can be used on Mac OS X machines as a desktop background through such software as Quartz Desktop and Mach Desktop. It includes animated gears, a balance wheel, and a clock that reflects your system time.

In my testing, this does not make a good screensaver, as the screensaver engine does not appear to be able to handle it, but the above programs should render it fine.
